Adapt, migrate, or become extinct.
A wise man once advised: When you are stressed and going through troubles, do not ask 'why?' Rather ask, 'what am I supposed to learn in all this?'
We find it far more convenient to complain than exert ourselves to learn. The person who takes responsibility is the one most likely to endure.
This is why it is so troubling to see the so-called leader of the free world operating in constant blame shift mode. Rather than seek to learn and then demonstrate true intelligence by adapting, he complains, then blames.
Elena Kagan is a bad nominee for SCOTUS. She is radical. She is an activist jurist. She is anti-military. She believes our Constitution should bend to the will of foreign precedent. In many ways she is anti traditional American. Most people are not supportive. The President is found forcing his issues rather than focusing on the general welfare. Is this messy situation his fault? Of course not. Republicans are to blame.
As the old song goes: "When will they ever learn? When will they ever learn?"
The economy continues to tank. He was told spending is killing us. He seemed to agree, then binges. He seemed to acknowledge debt is killing us, then he binges. Is the man in some kind of delerium, addicted to the agenda and in denial about economic realities? Remember however, it is Bush's fault, and Wall Street. (And who gives him more money than anyone?)
Immigration and border security: his responsibility on his watch. Whose fault? Bush and Arizona. So sue Arizona. Brilliant. Blame, accuse, demagogue and aggress. But never take a leadership role and really solve problems.
Divisive politics? He is the king of division, but never forget, it's really the Tea Party people who are to blame, and oh yeah, the 'partisan' Republicans.
Putting KSM on trial in NYC turns out to be an idiotic idea? Blame New Yorkers and politics. Can't close Gitmo because you didn't think that one through? Blame somebody!
Oil leakage in the Gulf and the total screw up regarding clean up? Not this administration! Blame everyone and anyone involved, and use the crisis to forward the Green Revolution. (Even the Left balked.)
Black Panthers threatening voters? Ignore it and blame the legacy of slavery and racism. Terrorists threatening Americans? Coddle them and blame Crusaders. European heads of state refuse to support more stimulus spending? Blame them and hide behind Krugman. Afghanistan's a mess? Have a general or two fall on his sword, and blame Bush. Healthcare reform a massive failure? Blame Republicans and doctors and hospitals and greed.
Favoritism, crony capitalism, corruption, and incompetence mark this administration and no amount of blame shifting will turn the tide or reverse the polls. Minority voices two years ago warned about the dangers of putting an inexperienced, incompetent, self-centered individual in the White House, one with a chip on his shoulder and an eye to self-aggrandizement.
So as things go from bad to worse, ask not why, but rather, ask, "When will we ever learn?"

Seriously? Who knew you could get paid for writing without understanding the most basic definitions of words. Jesus, what is the world coming to?
