Janice McLaurin -Medical Claims Examiner, who has been unable to work since 2006 despite the fact that she has 20 yrs experience(mostly contract work) in healthcare. Attended Ramapo College & Rutgers University as a Mass Communications Major. Diagnosed in 2006 with cancer, Janice had to leave a new position to become care-giver for her elderly parents who had Alzheimers, heart disease & kidney problems. She is also a descendant of Ida B. Wells (Great Aunt) Journalist, Editor, Suffragist and Dr. Harold Delaney, Chemist (Uncle) who worked on the Manhattan Project and was tragically killed in 1994. Her current interests are politics and healthcare.
