One of the most hotly contested races in the 2010 midterm elections will be for the United States Senate seat in Nevada. There Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D) is trying to stave off a challenge from Republican primary winner Sharon Angle (R). Angle seeks to fill the shoes of the man who is arguably the most powerful person in the Senate right now, but her campaign has gotten off to a shaky start following her primary win. Angle's polling numbers may continue to go down following the revelation of the video below in which she dodges any questions from reporters.
The video shows Angle refusing to answer any question after asking the media to attend a "press conference" at a local business. When the questioning time begins Angle simple turns around and literally walks out the back door and away from reporters. Angle then gets in an SUV and drives away without answering a single question. Angle has now refused to answer questions from the press for over a month.
Earlier this year Senator Reid was considered all-but-gone due to the high unemployment rate in Nevada and the unpopularity of Congress. However, Angle's victory seems to have given the Majority Leader a new life. Angle has tried to backtrack on her earlier positions calling for a "phasing out" of Social Security and Medicare. When the Reid campaign attempted to re-post Angle's old website of detailing her position from just a few months ago Angle threatened to sue the Reid campaign. Angle also seemed to come to the defense of BP (ala Rep. Joe Barton), in calling the $20 billion set aside to pay claims a "slush fund" of the Obama administration. Polls now show Reid with a slight lead.

WE DO know this. The State Run Media has a problem. Watch this exchange between Rangel and Luke Russert, son of the late great Tim Russert. See how Rangel expects his friends in the old media to act? How DARE Mr Russert ask such a question.
Rangel answered "“that doesn’t really sound like NBC asking this dumb questions. It just shows what has really happened to a channel that did have some respect.”"

Typical spin!!! Angle's team said they would answer any questions, didn't they? She told the press both before and after she was on a tight schedule and couldn't answer questions, AT THAT TIME. But of course this is spun into she RUNS from her own press conference. How juvenile!!!

Why Sharron Angle "Runs from the Press"
First of all, it wasn't "her press conference". It was Dick Patten's. Secondly, this event was held twice, once in Reno, and once in Las Vegas. She took questions in Las Vegas.
Why does Sharron Angle “run from the press”?
Maybe it’s because:
1) Most mainstream media members aren’t interested in the truth, or in portraying conservatives fairly.
2) Mainstream media (e.g., Politico, Time, The Huffington Post, The Washington Post) would rather conspire to conceal the relationship between Barack Obama and Jeremiah Wright at a critical time in a presidential election, or conspire to portray any conservative as a racist (just pick one!), or wish an agonizing death on Rush Limbaugh, or shut down Fox News, or compare Tea Partiers to Nazis, or destroy Sarah Palin.
3) She needs campaign contributions, and Obama didn't fly to Nevada, twice, at a cost of approximately $1 million per trip in taxpayer funds...more at moveonreid.com.

Sharon Angle is a joke. If the Nevada GOP had nominated Tarkanian or Lowden, Harry Reid would be putting his home in Washington up for sale right now. Instead, they nominate a crackpot who thinks we should end social security. No self-respecting Nevadan will vote for this fruitcake.

That's another reason why we will vote for Sharron Angle. Additionally, she is right on most issues, including Social Security, a government-run Ponzi scheme. Social Security benefits are paid with borrowed money or, rather, with money stolen from future generations.
The money our seniors put in Social Security was spent by the government long ago. We must stop the government from stealing from our children and grandchildren! The money taken from us for social security would be much safer and productive in our hands, invested how WE see fit.
We have to vote Reid (and Obama) OUT before they achieve their goal of "radically transforming the U.S." into a failed socialist/Marxist country like Cuba or Venezuela. Angle offers us the HOPE that we may yet be saved from socialism/Marxism.
