Rush Limbaugh and Keith Olbermann are two things that should not be brought into contact with each other if at all possible. It is much like connecting the wrong cables when jump-starting a car. Today Olbermann recounted what was perhaps the most memorable conflict between the two men.
It began in May Limbaugh challenged MSNBC to not refer to him for thirty days. Limbaugh's theory was that MSNBC needed him in order to prop up their ratings. Limbaugh of course ignored the fact that he spends most of his time criticizing President Obama therefore liberals could use the same criticism in reverse against him.
Not surprisingly Olbermann did not respond kindly. In one of the true Olbermann rants Olbermann began simply with "eff you" in rejecting Limbaugh's request. Olbermann claimed that he would stop criticizing Limbaugh once Limbaugh stopped praising himself. Personally I believe the better counter-challenge would have been to ask Limbaugh to stop referring to liberals for thirty days. Limbaugh after all makes a living off of criticizing liberals so it rather hypocritical of him to attack MSNBC for making a living off of criticizing conservatives.

Imagine the article Witt would write if Beck lowered himself to say "eff you". It's not just a 'double standard', Olbermann has 'no standard'.
It was a challenge and Olbey was not up to it.
Gigi I bet you ate a lot of french fries when the rest of us real Americans were eating freedom fries.
This is news?
Witt has FAILED in proving he has written ANY critical articles on this administration as I pointed out about 5 posts ago.
Witt, I ask again for links to your critical posts.
What I thought was funny was Olberman saying that so few people actually even know who Rush is... like ANY know who Olberman is! Bwhaaaa haaaa haaaa
What is MSNBC?
Jihad Watch: Please see Ryan's Dec 20 article: Top 10 health care reform stories of 2009: #10 - Obama responds 'stupidly' after press conference.
I'd say Ryan was fair and accurate.
OK Ryan, at least with me you're off the hook.
Thats ONE small line! He STILL has FAILED to defend his accusation of a lie that he has not been critical.
Cmon Witt, it can't be hard if YOU have not lied.
Jihad Watch: I provided you with the reference. Klatoo took the minimal amount of effort it takes to look just one of them up. If you are too lazy to do the same I am not going to do you any favors. Go on and babble if you wish your credibility has already been lost on the issue.
I SAID I went through 7 pages of your posts and found NONE!
Why can't you give the TITLES of your critical posts? Or are there any? One line saying "stupidly" is far from critical!
YOUR credibility is already shot so this may bring it back up!
If you do NOT post links or titles I must assume you CAN'T!
Um... Jihad Watch: Look it up please. That was what the article was about - "Top 10 health care reform stories of 2009: #10 - Obama responds 'stupidly' after press conference." The ENTIRE report! And Ryan also said that the criticism he has gotten was both public and private, which is probably no small thing either. Juan Williams on FNC said some people on the liberal left will try to destroy you if you disagree with even one small tenet of the liberal discourse. So what more do you want? You need to suck it up before you find you have to apologize.
Do what? Are you really that dumb? Obama is the President not a radio personality, that makes him a talking point for anyone. Let Overbite do his job and talk about him for a change. What you are to slow to understand is that Limbaugh is pointing out how pathetic bathtub boy is for using him as a news topic. Limbaugh is just a radio host so it is laughable that is all the ambiguously gay Olbermann can rant on. It is the same with the liberal topic. Whoosh that went right over your head!
Jack, you haven't been watching. Olbermann has frequently taken Obama to task for not fulfilling his campaign promises. It's all a pundit can do to document the inadequacies of both sides these days. But righties are still the worst because they're working to undermine the government, which is, well -- treasonous. If a pundit isn't focusing the majority of his attention on that, he's not doing his job.
Witt,
Zena called someone 'treasonous' without two witnesses THAT's UNCONSTITUTIONAL!!!! Where's the outrage!!!
Olbermann is a stinking butt nugget. His ratings are in the tank. Most people only know him through Youtube and blogs because of all the stupid things he says.
