David Letterman has always had a great deal of fun in making jokes about Sarah Palin. Letterman is certainly not alone as many others have used Palin for comedic material. However Letterman has separated himself from the rest with his many Top 10 Lists devoted to Palin and of course the infamous Alex Rodriguez joke. Letterman ended up apologizing for the AROD involving Palin's daughter but that does not mean he has given up all of his Palin material.
In the clip below Letterman allows Robin Williams to do the work when he tosses Williams a bone in asking about Palin. Williams quickly takes advantage of the opportunity saying he went shopping for Palin's book in the "fantasy aisle" of the bookstore. Williams goes on to string off a number of other prepared jokes on Palin including joking about how Katie Couric supposedly "ambushed" Palin by asking her what she reads. The entire time Letterman simply laughs. The interview will certainly not soften the relationship between Palin and Letterman though I am not sure if there was really any hope for reconciliation in the first place.
