Just as Washington D.C. is beginning to recover from the Mid Atlantic blizzard called "Snowmageddon" by President Obama another snowstorm is poised to slam the Washington today. According to the National Weather Service Washington D.C. will see another 10 to 20 inches of snowfall from the next storm to hit the region.
The new snow could continue to shutdown the federal government. The Office of Personnel Management has kept federal employees at home the Monday and now Tuesday. Another big snow could cause another closure of federal offices on Wednesday.
The new snow is also likely to spark another debate on the climate change front. Republicans have argued that the snow is proof that global warming is hoax. Meanwhile liberals have countered with numerous scientific studies which predicted climate change would bring about more extreme weather events including increased winter precipitation like snowstorms.
