Conservatives were missing their cheerleader today and liberals were missing their antagonist all because of a small appendage to the large intestine no longer than a few inches. Glenn Beck's appendix was causing problems today and he was later taken to an undisclosed hospital where he had an emergency procedure to have it removed.
Speaking from personal experience I can sympathize with Beck as I too once experienced an appendicitis in the middle of the day and was forced to go from work to a hospital. I can tell Beck's followers that it may be a few days until he is back if he underwent an emergency removal as I did. Unlike the laparoscopic procedure (involving a few small incisions) an emergency procedure can involve a larger cut. I was out of the hospital the next day after my emergency procedure but it was five days before I was able to return to work because of the pain. Of course I had to stand to do my work so Beck could conceivably come back sooner if he remained seated.
In all seriousness I wish Beck a speedy recovery. I certainly oppose most of his views but I do not wish the pain of an appendicitis on anyone. If Beck is forced off the air I would like to see it done through a boycott instead of any health issues. What would really be funny is if Anita Dunn calls Beck at the hospital to wish him well. Perhaps Beck will finally get that phone call from the White House he so desperately desired.

I revile everything Mr. Beck stands for and I have said so on this site, but politics aside I wish him good health and a speedy recovery.
I can feel the compassion you guys on the left have for Glenn. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. It even brings up new hope for the Obama's One World Govt. Man I so want to go out and hug a Polar Bear. I hope the little darlings aren't too warm.

The other thing Libs can't seem to understand is human fallibility...except when it works in their favor.
Example: Sanford... a conservative who F*cked up. But since he did, that must mean that he is AUTOMATICALLY a hypocrite in ALL THINGS CONSERVATIVE. But folks like, oh say... Bill Clinton, John Edwards, yeah those guys get a pass.
They set the bar high for conservatives (which is fine, you SHOULD live by your convictions), but set the bar low for themselves because "We don't go around pretenting to be holier than thou" kinda thing.
If a Lib does drugs, cheats on their spouse (Edwards/Clinton vs Sanford), Commits fraud (Geithner), Lies in court (Clinton again), etc... it's all good because Libs/Dems don't publically put a value on morality or honesty.
And of course, when conservative start kicking RINOs out because of the loss of conservative values...we're extremists, and right-wing nut jobs.

He defends his positions with logic and evidence that is well researched and presented. If you are free to express opinions which the majority of Americans disagree with, why shouldn't he express his opinions?
And by the way, Mr Witt, I went back 30 days and you most certainly had 30+ articles ridiculing Beck (ridicule meaning: to mock or to make seem unimportant). I believe that qualifies as 'daily'. Seems, I wasn't lying about you or exaggerating about you; reinforcing my opinion that you are indeed 'thin skinned'. You can dish it out, but you sure can't take it!

Actually Gigi you are still lying. You are just piling them on now actually. Most of those article were simply reporting what Beck said. If I report what you said is that "ridicule."

Jaimie: You got me I can't take criticism. That is why I have allowed well over a thousand comments from you, Doc Navy, Gigi, etc to stay up when they all could be deleted. That is why many times I don't even respond to them because I simply don't have time. How dare I delete your posts which resort to childish name-calling! Oh and then there are the "mystery posts" which supposedly get deleted all the time. you're calling me a liar for saying that you 'ridicule' Beck?
A third grader would know the purpose of your articles is to ridicule Beck!
P.S. Please explain why Anita Dunn would claim that Mao is a favorite political philosopher that she turns to again and again if she doesn't actually believe in his political philosophy?

If you want to boycott me go ahead. I would like to see Beck boycotted yes. In fact I supported the boycott of him. Both Beck and I have free speech but there are consequences for our speech. Free speech means your speech is protected from the government not from private individuals who wish to boycott you. So go ahead and boycott me if you like but quite honestly I am not a big enough deal for it to matter.
Daily defined by Webster's as "(a) occurring on or acted on every day (b) issued everyday" I did not even write articles some days. On other days I did not write about Beck at all. On most days I did write on Beck I simply reported what Beck said. I already explained how that is not "ridicule" and if you don't understand that I am not going to explain it again. So yes you are a liar for saying I write "daily" about Beck. If you make thirty comments today and then never write again do you comment on a "daily" basis? I think not.
