Rush Limbaugh to leave U.S. if health reform passes

Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh vows to leave U.S.

Conservative talk radio host and poster boy for all things GOP Rush Limbaugh has finally had enough.

After doing his level-best to incite a Republican resurrection in the 2010 mid-term elections, the Republican broadcast equivalent of ‘Bam-Bam’ from the ‘Flintstones’ cartoons has vowed that he will pack up his belongings and leave the United States if the U.S. Congress passes health care reform.

(And the problem with this is….?)

Limbaugh, who has criticized the Obama administrations’ every move on every subject since the November, 2008 election evidently doesn’t want to be one of the well-heeled-well-to-do who will be contributing some of his financial largess to uninsured Americans seeking the peace of mind having some form of health care coverage will bring.

(If getting rid of Rush was this simple, why hasn’t health care reform come closer to passing sooner?)

According to comments the entertainer and one-man political oppression movement made on his radio show today, Limbaugh told a caller to his show that he would think nothing of moving to Costa Rica should the Obama administration succeed in pushing through health care reform that is rumored to cost one trillion dollars by providing coverage to 30 million Americans presently ‘flying naked’, without any form of coverage.

(We’ll even pack him a sammich!)

Interestingly, Costa Rica offers universal health care to it’s residents; but would certainly benefit from all the attention and influence Limbaugh would bring to the Central American paradise.

For example: Since Limbaugh’s multi-million dollar compensation for his radio show on Clear Channel Communications exceeds Costa Rica’s GDP of $11,440 (PPP), the economy there is certain to benefit from having Rush running around in his golf cart and bamboo hat, doling out fivski’s to the natives.

There will be no homesickness for Limbaugh, since two of the major export industries in Costa Rica come from pharmaceutical giant GlaxoSmithKline and consumer products staple Proctor & Gamble. Thus, Limbaugh would not be experiencing any homesickness or separation anxiety from some of his favorite products as a result of his relocation.

Indeed, a second look reveals that Costa Rica would be an ideal fit for Limbaugh: the population is 94% white and mestizos, and Christianity is the dominant religion with Roman Catholicism identified as the State Religion according to the 1949 Constitution.

Since Rush Limbaugh will feel right at home in Costa Rica and it will clearly be a win-win situation if he leaves the U.S. for those glistening Caribbean shores, why not leave now for a practice run, Rush?
Just don’t let the American flag hit you in your considerable rump on your way out of the U.S.

No such luck that reform will pass and I will leave the U.S. my poor little misguided Heeb. I had too much coffee and strumpets before my show today and was punchy when I made the remark. Besides, the sexy big island women there sweat on me during sex

DelrayDiva: you're obviously an incontinent, senile skank. If you don't have the ovaries to use your real name and let people know who you 'write' for, then don't post, dipshit.

GlennBo, LOVE your articles. I don't know which is more fun: reading how you write em' or reading the reactions of people not intelligent enough to 'get' em. I totally lost it when the earlier comment told you Rush mean he was leaving for healthcare: hell, we just want him to LEAVE. We'll take it! lol

well if people actually listened to the clip, he did not "vow" to "move out of the country" he said "i'll go to costa rica" meaning he will go there for health insurance. But hey, I would love for people to go to cuba to get insurance before having to subsidize all the illegal's. If that doesn't happen, maybe we can just send Pelosi, Rahm, and barney frank over there since they hate america as it is.

Get used to it - the producers are already leaving or making plans to leave. And where that leaves the remaining taxpayers is with higher taxes to make up the difference. Hope you all enjoy your "Free Healthcare" and other Free programs, you poor tax slaves (those that can still find a job to pay any taxes).

If Rush is sooooo bad and no one likes him, then why is he soooo damn popular? And, you idiot, he did not say he would move, get it right or don't write an article. What kind of journalist are you?! If you want to give your money to illegals and lazy asses, be my guest, I don't!

How can so many people be so ignorant. Fighting against public healthcare is like fighting against everybody getting air! And if you are lower-middle class and you are fighting this, you are kicking yourself in the ass!

Most people who need this are not lazy. Do you realise that there is an unbalanced consequence of people being too rich? When you pay people pathetic wages to do all the work, and other people billions to sit on their asses and write checks, you will always be screwed as a nation. But healthcare can ease the sting.

And thank God Rush won't be coming to Canada.
