The Ground Zero Mosque, Nazis, and Father Dueñas

Commentary

Without fail, everyone and their imam-in-law knows about the "Ground Zero Mosque" clearing what many see as the final legal hurdle to construction.

With that said, do the backers of the Park51 Community Center have any legal obligation against construction of this combination mosque/community center?

Of course not.

They have every legal right under American law to construct this facility in the literal and figurative shadow of the soon to be completed National September 11 Memorial & Museum.

Be Careful What You Ask For...

The liberals who comprise the Kulturkampf Gestapo and the PC Kempeitai have just found themselves chained to the moral obligation to support the following possibilities;

The white supremacist/separatist Aryan Nation now have the legal right to begin construction on a church and community center in the literal and figurative shadow of the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site in Atlanta, Georgia.

The American Nazi Party now has the right to construct a chapter office in the literal and figurative shadow of the Holocaust Museum in Washington, DC.

The Shinto Yasukuni Shrine now has the right to construct their version of a mission church in the literal and figurative shadow of Pearl Harbor.

Keep in mind that those enshrined in the Yasukuni Shrine are considered by Shintoism to be gods.

That includes the 94 convicted WWII War Criminals to include Prime Minister General Hideki Tojo.

Even Better...

All these liberal do-gooders should now clamor for a Yasukuni Shrine affiliate to be built next door to St. Joseph's church located in Inarajan, Guam.

Buried there is a certain Father Jesus Baza Dueñas.

He was tortured for three days straight, and then eventually beheaded by the Japanese during World War II... and all this happened in front of his parishioners.

His crime? His unswerving loyalty to God and the United States of America.

But in all good faith and in the spirit of full disclosure, I'll admit I'm prejudice when it comes to Father Dueñas.

He was my cousin.
