Subhi Othman wasn't exactly thrilled when his 21-year-old adopted daughter moved in with good old daddy following her divorce.
According to Sweden's English language news portal The Local, the unnamed daughter's husband filed for divorce amid a rumor of infidelity.
That's all it took for Othman. According to The Local;
"In interviews he explained that he had killed her as he considered her lifestyle to be "indecent" and that he was faced with no other alternative in order to protect the family honour."
When police arrived at the home/crime scene, they found the daughter dead from being stabbed 53 times.
A Swedish Court of Appeal confirmed the 18 year prison sentence passed to Othman by a local district court last March.
That equates to roughly four months in prison for every time Othman brutally plunged the knife into his own daughter.
