Obama touts non-existent 'Black Street Cred'

The African-American Policy Agenda Conference hits the White House...

What must have felt like old home day at the White House, as the former 'Community Organizer' hosted a day-long meeting of black political, business and community leaders and various and sundry fellow organizers.

Obama told the assembled crowd that the 15.1% unemployment rate for blacks is "way too high."

He also pointed out that many of the problems that have plagued Black America, such as public housing and public education, have worsened since he occupied 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

"We"?

As Obama spoke to the conference attendees, he was quoted by the Associated Press as stating;

"We know tough times," the president said. "And what we also know, though, is that if we are persistent, if we are unified, and we remain hopeful, then we'll get through these tough times and better days lie ahead."

Barack Obama has never lived what is commonly known as "The Black Experience" in the United States.

If by "we" the president means all the Kenyan-American Hawaiians who also grew up in Indonesia and eventually went on to matriculate at Columbia and Harvard folks in the crowd, then he would be right.

Well, There Were Slaves In His Family History...

As reported by the Baltimore Sun, there are slaves in the Commander-in-Chief's background.

It turns out that certain ancestors on his mother's side were slaveholders.

Tripartite, Trishmartite ... *shrug*

The AP also made reference to the president lapse in memory that the Constitution states that there are three equal Branches of the federal Government;

The president made a direct appeal for help on proposals "where we don't have to wait for Congress" to act.
