Jimmy Carter in North Korea: America guilty of "human rights violations"

Commentary

I've always believed that more than a few Catholic bishops here in The United States are direct spiritual descendants of Judas Iscariot.

I believe the same applies to The South-Side Stooge and the Georgia version of Mr. Peanut.

In the grand tradition of sucking up to our enemies, the master has become the student.

Case in point: former President of the United States of America, James "Jimmy" Carter recently visited the neurotically isolationist Communist dictatorship of North Korea.

With his entourage of self-titled "The Elders" consisting of former Finnish President Martti Ahtissari, former Norwegian Prime Minister Gro Brundtland and former Irish President Mary Robinson in tow, Carter accused the United States and South Korea of conspiring; (see video, left)

“To deliberately withhold food aid to the North Korean people because of political or military issues not related is really indeed a human rights violation.”

Neither Carter nor any other member of "The Seniles" made any mention that nearly 10 million of  North Korea's population of 24 million is a member of  the Inmin Gun, or Korean Peoples Army, both active and reserve.

Nor was there any mention that while the Communist Armed Forces of Kim Jong-il is well fed, it is common knowledge that famine is rampant among the common folk.

By the way, neither the United States nor South Korea are required by treaty or otherwise, to provide food to the government of the dictator Kim Jong-il.

Why don't The Seniles call on Communist China or Putin's Russia to provide such?  After all, they are the ones who provide Kim with plenty of weapons of war.
