Israel moves missiles -- Explosion rocks Iranian city

Unusual happenings in Middle East...

Ever since GOP presidential hopeful Newt Gingrich publicly stated that stopping Iran's capacity to develop nuclear weapons include "taking out their scientists, including breaking up their systems, all of it covertly, all of it deniable" (video, left), many Americans are seeing events in the Middle East in a different light.

Aaron Klein of WND.com is reporting that there have been 'unusual' movements of Israeli Jericho offensive medium-long range missiles around Jerusalem and in the West Bank.

When Klein asked the Israeli Defense Forces for comment, they referred him to the Israeli National Police.

The INP informed the WND reporter, "no information on any such movements."

Citing a Palestinian Authority security member who spoke on conditions of anonymity;

"speculated the missiles were related to a possible Israeli offensive against Iran. He commented that such missiles were offensive in nature, and usually not meant to serve as defensive posture."

Meanwhile, To The East...

Fox News is reporting that "A loud explosion was heard in several parts of the western Iranian city of Isfahan."

Isfahan is also the home of Iran's uranium conversion plant, a key asset to their nuclear program.

Fox also reported;

"The blast comes two weeks after what was described as an accidental explosion killed Gen. Hasan Tehrani Moghaddam and 20 other members of the Revolutionary Guard at a military base about 25 miles southwest of Tehran. The Guard said the blast came while they were transporting munitions."
