Commentary
For those who haven't been following this Missing Child Case in Great Britain (it's received zero coverage here in the United States), prepare to be disgusted and outraged.
Charlene Downs is a young girl from Blackpool, England who went missing in 2003 at the age of 14.
As reported by The Telegraph of London, the prosecution presented to court that Charlene was murdered by fast food shop owner, Jordanian immigrant Iyad Albattikhi, who was taped by police that he joked that Charlene had been "chopped up" and put into kebabs.
Albattikhi's business partner, Mohammed Reveshi, is also charged as an accessory, who disposed of the body by cutting her up and running her, bones and all, through a meat grinder.
Other examples as reported by The Independent, of police taped conversations between the two include;
- Reveshi said: “Her big bones went into the machine as well, you know that, don’t you?” Albattikhi replied: “Her bones? Did you . . . inside the machine?” “Yes,” Reveshi said.
- Reveshi had said to his partner: “Well, hopefully I [done] it properly you know . . . he thought he saw me cutting her body up."
- “Do you remember she was bleeding to death?” “Yes,” replied Albattikhi. “So that she made a mess,” Reveshi allegedly added.
- Later in the transcript Reveshi allegedly says: “The last one then, it was the last deep one and then it was the [heart] . . . that finally killed her.”
- At one point Reveshi said: “I’m so worried and you was the one who killed her.”
However, The Independent also reported that the police "watchdog" (IE: rights of criminals come before the rights of victims), the Independent Police Complaints Commission ruled that covert surveillance evidence gathered against the two main suspects in the case was flawed. This means that the evidence can never be submitted in court.
Of course, the case against Albattikhi and Reveshi fell apart, and the two were released and charges dropped.
Are You Surprised?
The Telegraph has reported last month that specifically because of the Charlene Downs investigation, it has been uncovered that dozens of English girls aged 13-15, have been manipulated to be sexually abused by... wait for it... "non-white men" in many of Blackpool's various fast food shops. Not my words... the Telegraph's.
The same newspaper also reported that the a British Home Office investigation "was launched amid reports of a similar trend of crime across the north of England and the Midlands involving gangs of mainly Muslim men and young girls."
What I have found to be particularly despicable, is that a former Lancashire Police detective Mick Gradwell, stated that "officers had long been aware that girls in Blackpool, Blackburn and Burnley were being 'passed around like toys for sexual gratification' but that investigations were being hampered by political correctness." (Emphasis mine)
Those Hate-Filled, Right-Wing Hate Mongers Are At It Again...
The much maligned English Defence League held a rally in the hometown of Charlene just yesterday.

Does the BBC even know who Charlene Downs IS? But they ensured they mentioned 10 guys arrested for public drunkenness.
So much for the dead girl ran through a meat grinder.
