First Lady Michelle Obama wasn't the only one to spend the weekend in Colorado.
Former-Vice President Al Gore was in Aspen to gave the keynote address at something called The Forests at Risk: Climate Change and the Future of the American West symposium.
Without fail, Gore arrived with charts and a slide show, peddling his brand of global warming fear mongering.
Yet again, without fail, Gore attacked those who didn't look upon every utterance he's ever given as their own epiphanous moment.
According to Gore, he has enemies that want to turn his Chicken Little warnings of man-made global warming into a "theory rather than a fact."
According to The Aspen Times, Gore's opponents in his own personal green crusade are the "'dedicated, cynical, lavishly funded strategy,' who have taken over conservative talk radio, especially commentator Rush Limbaugh and his many imitators, the Wall Street Journal editorial page, Fox News and other right-wing outlets."
There was no mention of the 10,000 square foot energy guzzling home owned by Gore, his less-than-MPG friendly Cadillac Escalade or by what mode of transportation Gore used to get from his Tennessee mansion to the Aspen group (tree) hug.
But it is widely speculated that Gore used his private jet.
Credibility?
I just might give some of this man-made global warming nonsense of Gore's a second thought if someone would just tell me exactly where Al Gore received his PhD Meteorology or Climatology.
Or maybe a Masters in Meteorology or Climatology?
How about a Bachelor's degree in Meteorology or Climatology?
Ok, I'll lighten up. How about just a two year Associates?
Anyone... anyone?
