Keith Olbermann, host of MSNBC's "Countdown with Keith Olbermann," yesterday claimed that Americans who spoke out against green-jobs czar Van Jones are racists. Said Olbermann, "[i]n the Candyland world of racism dressed up as anything else, they will believe anything about the president and they will believe any rationalization, no matter how transparent, that what they‘re feeling is not racism."

Olbermann was apparently too busy coming up with ad hominem attacks on those who disagree with him for his show’s “World’s Worst” segment to notice that, whereas Beck called Obama a racist on July 28, 2009, the “Glenn Beck Show” first covered Van Jones on July 23. But then, why let the facts get in the way of a good personal attack?
Then, without the slightest hint of irony, Olbermann quotes John Anner, a former chair of the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights - which Jones founded – who said, “[i]t struck me why go after this guy. He‘s a minor player. He has no power, no budget. Why take him? It‘s because he looks like Obama and he has all of those same attributes of being well-educated and he‘s an electrifying speaker with an elite education.While Olbermann was busy playing the race card, a favorite tactic of the Left when it’s at a loss for a real argument, it apparently never occurred to him that maybe, just perhaps, Americans were disturbed by the fact that the president of the United States would appoint a self-avowed communist to a position in his administration. And the atrocities committed by the twentieth-century’s adherents to communism were already known when Van Jones became a communist, so it’s not like he can claim ignorance.
Apparently, the fact that communism claimed the lives of an estimated 100 million people during the 20th century is no cause for concern to Keith Olbermann. Fortunately, most Americans feel otherwise. It’s not called racism, Olbermann, it’s called a moral compass. For someone who spends so much time pointing out the moral shortcomings of others, it's ironic that you apparently do not have one.

Communism killed more than Nazism in the last century. Millions murdered in Russia. Close to a billion murdered in China. Millions murdered in Southeast Asia. Thousands killed in battles in Peru, and other parts of South America. Thousands killed in Africa. The totals are past billions of people murdered by Communists governments, and not in a war against another country, but the systemic murder of their own citizens.
At one time there were dozens of Communist countries in the world and now there are only a handful. Every country that practiced Communism has dropped that murderous and repressive political system. Even China has modified their version of Communism and is now more Capitalist than any country in Europe.
Why would anyone still want to follow this horrible form of political system. Communism is SIMILAR to Nazism in murdering their own citizens in a their form of repression.
Oh and that idiot Olbermann said that people tried to say that Nazis Fascism and Communism are the not the same...oh really? They are the same in the proven fact that both of those political systems were/are repressive, spied on their citizens, controlled the media, and both of those political systems murdered thousands of their own citizens. In fact Communism murdered MILLIONS of their OWN citizens. So on those facts they are both the same because of the way they treated their citizens.
Communism is a serious terrible political movement and history has shown that Communism did not work. The only few countries that still practice true forms of Communism are some of the most repressive countries around the world. And Van Jones loved Communism? Van Jones is an idiot besides an overt racist.

I can't decide if Obama is going to replace Hitler, or with his Czars, Joseph Stalin, as the ultimate supreme ruler. Either way it looks inevitable that he will ruin this country.
