Internet has brought endless opportunities for all businesses to promote their products and services. One of them is daily deep discount websites like Groupon and Living Social Deals. But prior to this year pole dancing studios stayed away from significantly lowering their prices.
Last year there were only three pole dancing studios in Denver – LeeLynn, Tease and TranZenDance Studio. They kept drop-in prices between $15 and $25 for an hour long class.
Now the situation has changed. Starting from April 2010 Denver metro area residents has much more options to learn pole dancing. You can find useful links to websites of Denver Metro area studios currently offering pole dancing here: http://www.examiner.com/x-47821-Denver-Pole-Dancing-Fitness-Examiner~y2010m5d7-Pole-dancing-for-fitness-in-Colorado.
Tease studio was the first to react to the changing market situation by offering 53% discount to their punch card. Customers reacted very favorably with close to 400 deals sold in just one day. Some of new studios started their promotion campaigns by offering free Saturday trials and much lower prices on regular classes. Mile High Pole Club in Parker for example offers $12 drop-in classes, sampler pack of four classes for $39 or punch cards which go to as low as $209 for 24 classes. Become their fan on Facebook and watch for Fantastic Friday deals if prices above don’t look impressive enough for you. Chick Coop in Denver (http://www.thechickcoop.com) offers $100 unlimited monthly card or $10 for a class drop-in rate. Denver Movement Studio offered $3.5 for a trial class deal on Living Social Deals in May. And last week L’Ru Studio offered $30 for 4 class punch card deal on Groupon.
So prices to learn pole dancing in Denver have become affordable for most of adult students. Should you expect further price drop? I wouldn’t do so. Pole dancing is fun but hard workout. Most insurance companies don’t want to work with pole dancing studios because they consider it to be too dangerous activity. If you want to learn it in a safe and professional environment you shouldn’t compare studios just based on price value. Look for their class offerings, instructors’ qualifications, class atmosphere, number of students per pole and in class. Current prices give you opportunity to try different studios to find the one where you would feel “at home”. Now is the perfect time to start – you will LOVE it! And www.Examiner.com will help you by guiding through pole dancing scene in Colorado and beyond. Don’t hesitate to write here if you have questions or comments.
Next week watch for our topic “Faces of Colorado pole dancing”.

The Denver movement studio lied about their coupon. Original offer stated $35 for ten classes of any choice, including pole fitness. However, when I went to register, on their website they all of a sudden wrote that only one class out of the 10 can be used for pole dancing. Their studio is a scam and I would stay away from it.

Hello CK. I am the owner of Denver Movement Studio. I'm very sorry you feel you were scammed. 10 classes for $35.00 at my studio is a deal even if you couldn't use them all for pole dancing, we offer Classes in Zumba, Belly Dancing, Capoeira, Yoga, Samba and Hip Hop. It’s unfortunate that your only interest is in Pole Dancing, I can assure you that you are in the minority. If you care to contact me: denvermovementstudio@live.com I would be happy to make amends with you. It was not my intention to scam you or anyone. I would have appreciated the opportunity to address your dissatisfaction before you made this hurtful post. Its unfortunate you chose to conduct yourself in this way, but I would still be happy to reach some resolution with you despite how unfairly you have treated me.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
    Thanks.
