Tampa Poker Examiner

What will you be doing on Thanksgiving Day this year? If you want to play poker in Tampa, you will have a few options:
Luck’s Card Room in Tampa will be open on Thanksgiving Day. There will be a 1:00 pm no-limit hold’em tournament for $45. However, the room will be closing at 6pm so their employees can enjoy some turkey at home that day too!
Seminole Hard Rock in Tampa is open 365 days a year. The Hardrock will have two Turkey Day tournaments. The tournaments will be at 12:30 pm and 7:30 pm with a $100 + $20 buy-in. In addition, the room will have cash games including: 2/4 limit hold’em; 1/2, 3/5,5/10 no-limit hold’em; 1-5 7-card stud and 2/4 Omaha hi-lo with a 5 kill.
Derby Lane in St. Petersburg will also be open on Thanksgiving. They are offering three tournaments that day. So, no matter what time your Turkey is being served; you will have time to eat and get to a poker tournament at the Derby. In addition, there will be a lot of live action and simulcast wagering will be available.
The Silks poker room will be closed on Thanksgiving day.
Happy Thanksgiving…see you at the tables, just don't get too wild!
