At the beginning of the month I was contacted by a media representative,Ozlem Arpaci, of the plus-size fashion designer, Yuliya Zeltser. I was asked if I knew about her. I did not, so I was invited to come and view the site (IGIGI) and asked what I thought. This wonderful site is out of San Francisco, California. I have had a wonderful time viewing her designs. I do believe that there is not one piece that I would not enjoy wearing. They are vibrant, carefree, sexy and feel ‘good’ type of clothing. Yuliya’s design to cater to size 12-32.
What is IGIGI? This is a direct quote from their website, “IGIGI is the premiere brand of contemporary collections designed to fulfill the lifestyle of the beautiful, voluptuous, and confident woman. Named after an ancient goddess embodying vitality, charm, and intelligence, IGIGI strives to provide women of curves with smart, stylish and sophisticated collections that accentuate and celebrate their bodies.
IGIGI wants to make women look and feel sensational. Our goal is to inspire the full-figured woman to love, respect and treasure herself by accepting her body and learning to dress it for a fabulous look and an incredible inner feeling. We employ innovative techniques that create a great fit for the individual shape leading to a visually appeasing appearance. IGIGI strives to make women feel they are part of a community. Our StyleBlog section provides a platform for women to connect on various levels from fashion advice to emotional healing to finding the humor in life. Full-figured authors regularly write about their life experiences and contribute to the community.
They also have a wonderful mission statement (direct quote), “Everybody is beautiful just the way they are. At IGIGI we have a concern. We are concerned that there are people in the world that do not know or feel how beautiful they are. We are concerned that there are people stuck in the narrow, stifling stereotypical view of beauty. We are concerned that even though someone sees themselves as beautiful it can be taken away so easily with a wrinkle or a few “extra pounds”.
Because of this we are committed to breaking down the barriers that inhibit people from realizing their own beauty and to be a catalyst for this in the world. We aim to transform the way beauty is defined. The way beauty is seen. The way beauty is felt. Everybody is beautiful just the way they are. What would the world look like if that statement were true? We aim to find out.”
IGIGI’s fashion designer,Yuliya Zeltser, who is she? Why did she decided to design plus-size fashions? So, you want to know about Yuliya, do you? She is a bright and creative fashion designer. How do I know this? Just jump over to their website and fall in love with clothes again. I invite you to view her biography under About Yuliya. Something that stuck with me after reading her biography was that this all started for her plus-size mother. After a shopping trip, Yuliya found that plus-size women did not have the stylish clothing of the smaller sizes. Yuliya, I have to agree. That because of this, she found a niche that had a need to be fulfilled. Personally, I want to thank designers like Yuliya for realizing that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes. Those of us that classify for the bbw market already knows that we are beautiful, however, it is about time that designers found out. I believe after viewing IGIGI and the small conversations with Ozlem, that Yuliya is on to something here. I invite you all, that if you have not yet found IGIGI that you jump right over and see what Yuliya has been up too. These clothing styles are definitely a ‘10’ in my book.

This article is MUCH better. Your grammar is terrible and your writing style is a bit jarring to read as it doesn't "flow" but the piece is informative, relevant and sparks my interest.
Patricia, as always, thank you for your comments. I hope to see you write for the examiner some day. If you chose to, use my name as a referral. I hope you enjoy my product review for this company as soon as I have it finished. :)
