A current plus size fashion icon in today’s scene, is the beautiful Beth Ditto. Lead singer to the indie-pop group The Gossip , Ditto is paving the way for plus size women. Proud of her shape and size, Ditto will soon be unleashing a clothing collection for the London based clothing company, Evans . Ditto’s collection will include, according to Evans , “the 80's inspired range, which she has co-designed, will include colorful graphic dresses, oversized knitwear and a bundle of hot accessories.” Ditto’s punk-like personally makes you easily fall in love with her lyrics and she is, without a doubt, an advocate for plus size fashion. Ditto has gone as far as refusing to play in-store gigs for London’s TopShop because they didn’t carry clothing in her size. She even offered to design clothes for big boys and girls.
