How to dress like British singer Lily Allen

Want to dress like the hottest British pop sensation, like Lily Allen ? Lily has amazing style and gets more stylish everyday.

Lets kick things off with Miss. Allen and items that you should look for to complete your look.

Dresses: Lily Allen is a fan off dresses, rather cocktail dresses or dresses of complete structure. You can see her with pops of colors or with her little black dress. One thing you should do it refer back to my previous article about your shape and what looks best. You should then figure out what you feel most comfortable in; rather that’s sleeveless dresses, long maxi dresses or strapless dress for example.

• Take a look at this JS Collection Laser dress ! This has a cocktail look but with the lace, its very elegant and structure to an extend.
• For a cocktail and floral based dress, take a gander at Torrid's white and blue swing dress
• Definitely look at Tadashi's Stretch Taffeta Pleated dress from Sak’s. This dress will look amazing on your figure and is also very classic and with structure.

Heels: You will see Lily either in her everyday sneakers or with the sexy Christian Louboutin red-sole heels.  Obviously wear heels that you feel comfortable walking in but also feel sexy in.

• You need to check out the online site, Shop Style You can search for everything you need, rather it is fashion, housing needs, or beauty essentials.
• If you don’t want to spend so much money on a pair of shoes, take a look at Torrid's line .

Handbag: You will notice that Lily is always donning Chanel bags. I know some can’t afford a classic Chanel bag but you can gather ideas from Chanel handbag designs and go seek out some more reasonably priced Chanel look-a-likes.

• Again, look at Shop Style where you can search for hobo, clutches etc.
• If you want to get a Chanel bag, look at Bag Borrow or Steal . Its every girl’s fantasy and at a reasonable rental price.
• Take a look at ASOS . An online British store that has finds that you won’t see roaming the streets of Chicago.
• Or, try Shop Suey Boutique , where you can find designer-inspired handbags. Most bags, by the way, are typically under $100!

Skirts: Lily has been known to wear high-waist skirts but  if you don’t feel comfortable in them or feel that you won’t look absolutely smashing in it than look for normal waist skirts or if you want to give high waist skirts a try, grab some Spanx.

• Torrid has great pencil skirts that will be great on your figure.
• Also,  Torrid is offering Spanx !!

Accessories: Always, always have a great set of accessories. I personally adore Jackie-O style sunglass but Lily has been seen sporting RayBan sunglasses. You can accessorize with earrings, rings, bracelets, and necklaces accordingly and to your desire. Also, get headbands or accessories to spice up your look!

• There are several websites where you can find accessories. Some places I like are Torrid , ASOS , BlueFly , Pluma , Girl Props , and Bag Borrow or Steal.

Blazers: I adore any type of blazer or cardigan and Lily has been seen sporting one. Look for one that is shorter than the dress and at waist length. Don’t get a cropped one because the shorter the length, the more emphasis on your torso.

• Torrid has great and reasonably prices blazers. You can either wear with a dress if at a proper length or with slacks and a great poplin shirt

Sequins:  Sequins are a great way to rock a party or to allow you to have less accessories. With some great heels and a cute evening bag, you can make a runway premiere at the party.

• Monif’s Olivia dress has all the sequin you will need. This dress and several others are figure flattering and if paired with black tights and your favorite black heels, you will surely impress everyone in your presence.

Flats: Grab some great ballet flats, especially for the summer season quickly coming our way. You can add some pops of colors with your flats and if you have jewels on the toes, even better.

• Flats can be purchase almost everywhere but make sure you have comfortable flats that will have enough width if needed.
• Again, search around on Shop Style for flats because you can adjust the search towards your cost, size, color, and designer.
