Simply visit your local Bed Bath and Beyond or Target to find one of those cute, frilly aprons. Place the apron on top of the shift dress and purchase some white gloves from a church store, add wedge heels or if you're really feeling frisky, some closed toe pumps, and voila - you're 3/4 dressed for the night! The only thing left to do will be to top of the outfit with the perfect 50s housewife hairstyle.
French Maid - everyone loves a sexy Halloween costume! But for the plus-sized woman, some of the typical sexy costumes can be a bit limiting - sexy cheerleader, much? The beauty of the French Maid costume, though, is that it accentuates all the curvy assets of a plus-sized beauty. Cinched waist, push up bra, sexy a-line structure.... add a wink and a smile and you'll be sure to entice the entire party!
Prep girl - Sure, it's been done a lot, but that's because it's about as easy of a costume as you can get. Dig out that old tennis skirt from 4 or 10 years ago (depending on how old you are), add some knee high socks, your boyfriend's tie, a button down white shirt and some Keds from Payless and you'll be stepping out like a girl coming home from boarding school.
