As a plus size fashion blogger I can practically kick myself for missing this amazing dress that singer/songwriter Jordin Sparks wore to a pre-Grammy party hosted by Clive Davis. The dress is a white Alexander McQueen Koi jaquard dress. I love this dress to the very core of my being. It's sexy but not skanky. The body hugging-ness of the dress is balanced out with the "to-the-knee" length and higher neckline. It is a win on all fronts.
Sparks' actual Red Carpet look is this red and pink Zhang Toi number which some critics said was too much like a prom dress. I think it was very stylish though it does remind me a bit of a prom dress, but hey the Grammy's are kind of like the Prom for music. Perhaps if the dress was teal and the underlay fabric was cream and matched the "belt" section of the dress? Just a thought, but she looks good either way
