Canon + iPhone = magic

Do you have a Canon DSLR? and Do you have an iPhone or iPod touch? Then there is a great piece of news. A new application (APP) is on the way that lets you control your Canon DSLR wireless from the iPhone or iPod touch. Developed by onOne Software, It is called DSLR remote, and its release is pending the final approval by Apple.

It is believed that the price would be $19.99, however, the developers are said to offer the app for an introductory rate of $9.99. A lite version would be available to users at $1.99, which will have the capability of just triggering the shutter. The full version, though, will have many other features in controlling the camera, such as setting the speed, aperture, and white balance to name a few.

For people with a Canon DSLR and iPhone or iPod, I assume it to be a great buy as it would eliminate the cost of buying a remote for the camera which costs way too much as compared to this price. Moreover, it would save extra space and weight. I am a Canon-ER, and I have an iPhone, so I am really excited by the news, and I am looking forward for the release of this software, which, with the iPhone and Canon is simply magic.
