on Ryan McGinley's opening for "Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere"
Before naming his latest show, photographer Ryan McGinley must have seen the guest list. So far, 1,544 facebookers have confirmed their attendance to tomorrow night's opening for "Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere" at the Team (Gallery, Inc.) on Grand Street. And, the setting for the event's facebook invitation is such that "Guests are allowed to bring friends to this event." If every guest brought another, well that could easily make for 3,088 people. It turns out that 'Nowhere' is pretty popular when McGinley shows up.
Unfortunately, this writer avoids certain, exceptional ratios of crowd-to-space; ergo, I will leave the review up to you, dear readers.
