Have you ever walked into a store and saw the cutest little stuffed dog while on vacation? Well a woman named Paula Kidney did just that and named him "Pups the Traveling Labrador". Now this was not a child, but a grown woman who had a vision that this little Labrador would see the world even if it was not with her. She bought him little doggie clothes and started him on his adventures. This seems to have caught on like wildfire to so many other people from all over. He travels with his own suitcase full of items from all over the world. He has been traveling for over three years now. Her inspiration came from her own Labrador named Garth Milo. Pups the Traveling Labrador is having the time of his life traveling with each set of foster parents to his new destination.

Pups the Traveling Labrador has a waiting list a mile long and each new foster dog mom and dad take Pups on their vacation. They take pictures of him and send them back to Pups mom, Paula, back home. The foster parents write online into a journal as to what Pups saw and what sites he will be seeing. Each foster parent takes Pups for about one week before shipping him off to the next foster parent on the list or returning to his mom, Paula. Pups’ has been to so many different locations and has been given so many cute outfits for his trips and many souvenirs. All of which, accompany him on each of his travels. Hey a dog cannot have too many outfits and who know what he wants to wear when he is out. All foster parents are taking such great care of Pups and making sure he is in his best form and always clean.

Pups the Traveling Labrador has seen so many places like Australia, Germany, Switzerland, Barbados, Antigua, Canada, Japan, Ireland, England, Jamaica, Cozumel, Dominica and has seen over 16 US states. Pups’ has even gone to Disney World and Epcot. During his travels he has also been on the radio in Tampa, Fl on Talkin’ Pets Radio. He also went to the Animal Radio Studios in California. He is featured in the Pet Friendly Magazine and the Fido Friendly Magazine as well as others. Paula and Pups have come up with a manuscript of his travels in Vancouver, Canada and is in the works on another set of books which will be in a series telling people of his travels. Pups actually attended the AKC Canine Good Citizen Testing and he received his CGC certificate from the AKC. Now the foster parents know he won’t bite anyone while traveling. (little humor there!)

Hi--Great story and travel adventures. Just wanted to let you know that that's Pluto Pups was visiting with in the Disney World photo...not Goofy. Its hard to keep those canines straight! Good luck to Pups in his future travels!!
