Kristen has long been a member of the Philadelphia pet community. Since law school, she has been a foster parent, daycare manager, petwalker/sitter, volunteer with the PSPCA, national Pointer and Greyhound rescues. She avidly follows issues affecting animals locally and nationally. Kristen has extensive pet experience from her own pack of at least three (and usually some boarders), from training and housebreaking to long-term cancer care and pet loss. She's been a member of the largest city dog park and a buyer for local pet retailers. Kristen writes for several different online and print publications, writing about pets, entertainment, and strange combinations of the two.
