In a conversation with Diane Taylor several months ago she said that she was anxiously awaiting for Guinness World Records to measure her dog Titan. He is a 4 year old Polar Great Dane that measures 42 1/2" tall and weighs 185 pounds. It is now official and the world welcomes Titan as the Worlds Tallest Dog.
Titan and Diane live in San Diego and can be seen walking on the beach proudly.
The former worlds tallest dog, Gibson recently died from cancer. There was some controvery as to Gibsons actual height. Guinness was scheduled to go to Grass Valley to remeasure Gibson but his owner Sandy Hall had him euthanized because he had incurable cancer. Gibson was an amazing dog with a heart of gold and people and dogs who knew him will agree.
