Dr. Pearson and his wife will come to your house and take care of your pet. Whether your pet is ill or needs just a medical exam or shots these caring folks can help.
I have a 110 lb. Golden Retriever and if anything medically wrong were to happen I would be in a difficult situation trying to get him in the car to a veterinarian. Dr. Eric Pearson and his wife, Lianne, who is a registered nurse have been making house calls for pets for 26 years now. They live in Kailua on the Windward side of the island of Oahu.
Their exam is $65 and well worth the price. The price of other services varies. They are able to handle any pet emergency and non emergency situation. They live in Lanikai near the beach with their two pugs.
This service is perfect for the pet who cannot ride in the car to the vet or for someone who does not drive.
Here is how you reach the on call--house call veterinarian. (808)-261-6000.
On a Sunday or in case of an emergency call their cell phone (808) 484-9070.
My friend Monica lost her dog last year as they were trying to get him to the vet across town. If they had quicker medical care it may have saved her dogs life. Please tell your animal friends about this wonderful service and if you have another vet who makes house calls leave a comment on this column.

I'm sure there will be many people who are glad to get this info. As you say, many large dogs are hard to transport when they are sick or injured. Even people with small dogs may be reluctant to move them much if they are seriously ill. Thank you.......
for anyone with a pet that is sick these doctors are doing a great service to the pet owners and the pet. Thank you doctors and thank you Liz for letting people with pets know. It could save someones pets' life. Angie
