In follow-up to the Will your pet be safe in a disaster? article, http://www.examiner.com/x-21796-Baltimore-Pets-Examiner~y2009m9d2-Will-Your-Pet-Be-Safe-In-a-Disaster?cid=exrss-Baltimore-Pets-Examiner Baltimore is calling pet owners to participate in The Maryland State Animal Response Team or MDSART disaster drill on Monday, September 28, 2009. MDSART is looking for at least 25 volunteers to help role-play disaster stricken residents with pets. You need not have previous drill experience. It is asked that all pets be in crates before, during and after the drill. Volunteers are asked to arrive promptly at 9:30 AM.
