Peter Facinelli and Jennie Garth are fast becoming one of Hollywood's leading examples of how families are supposed to work.
Together for almost fifteen years (and married for almost ten), the two have successfully made a mark on both Tinsel Town and the idea of home.
Both have been active and busy actors for the duration of their relationship, but lately, Peter Facinelli has been the boot-scooting, Twitter-using, mall-hopping (for charity, of course), Twilight star headliner of the family.
And Jennie Garth seems to be pretty happy about it.
She recently gave an interview to Time Out New York where she talked about the fact that Facinelli has been taking the career lead.
Right now I love taking a backseat to him and being a supportive wife. I’ve been so fortunate in my career; I’ve directed, acted and produced. At this point, I’m completely happy to be a mother and wife and if I work, that’s fine, but he’s more than capable of taking care of us. There’s no competition or jealousy. I’m happy doing what I’m doing. It’s so much more rewarding to be a mom than any acting I’ve ever done.
What a wonderful new chapter in their lives.
