Ella, glad to be back home
Ella the Rottweiler showed her true colors recently when the loyal dog was found waiting at the exact spot she had last seen her family. The Kelley family was driving in the mountains of Tennessee when they lost control of the car and smashed into the side of a mountain.
Paramedics rushed the family to the hospital, but the frightened dog ran off into the trees. After almost two weeks on her own, another driver spotted the dog where the car had crashed 13 days earlier. Ella was drinking from puddles of water on the road and stood watch over family posessions she had gathered including a toothbrush that had obviously been projected from the vehicle during the accident. According to News Channel 5, she had also retrieved a note with insurance information that led to the reuinion of Ella with her thankful family.
