Paws hosts cocktail parties once a month in the Boca Raton area
The winter social season is in full swing here in South Florida. There's just no denying that this beautiful weather puts us in the mood to mix, mingle and have fun this Valentine's Day.
If you're up for a cocktail (or two) after work one evening or even an all day weekend affair, check out these upcoming pet rescue events and feel good about socializing for a worthy cause:
"Paws for Love" cocktail party at Argentango in Royal Palm Place on Tuesday, February 9th from 6-8:30pm. $10 Paws members, $20 guests. Admission includes complimentary cocktail and lite bites. "Paws for the Cause" is a social and professional networking group dedicated to raising funds and awareness for the Tri County Humane Society, a no-kill shelter in Boca Raton.
"PetSet's" 2nd Annual Cupid's Bash at America's Backyard in Fort Lauderdale on Thursday, February 11th from 7-11pm. $20 PetSet members, $30 guests. Admission includes two cocktails, appetizers and chocolate fondue bar. PetSet is a social group (ages 24-45) dedicated to making a difference in the lives of animals by raising funds and awareness for the Humane Society of Broward County.
"Pets in the Plaza" pet fair and adoption drive at Downtown Lake Worth Cultural Plaza on Saturday, February 13th from 10am-4pm. This 2nd annual event will feature free micro-chipping and goodie bags for the first 50 attendees. Festivities include specialty pet product vendors, dog training demos and a live grooming contest. Fetch! Pet Care of Palm Beach County has teamed up with the Lake Worth CRA and Elite Greyhound Adoptions to organize this community event promoting pet adoption and responsible pet ownership.
