The MidAtlantic chapter of the Doberman Assistance, Rescue and Education (DARE) is looking for a few good men and women to help them organize events and rescue efforts in the Baltimore area.
The all-volunteer group covers a large area spanning Metropolitan Washington D.C., Maryland,Virginia, and parts of West Virginia, and is celebrating its 10th year as a Doberman Pinscher rescue organization.

There are many ways to get involved! Some DARE volunteers conduct home visits of potential adopters to help ensure that every Dobe goes to an appropriate, loving environment. Others provide transportation to and from shelters, veterinarians, foster homes and “forever homes.” Some members are able to open their hearts and homes to foster our dogs. Volunteers dedicate hours of time and energy to organize fundraisers and adoption events and provide education about the breed to the general public.
