St. Louis Pet photo contests in review: Overall a big hit with readers all over the US and Canada

If you have been keeping up with St. Louis Pet Photography articles and contests it's not hard to see how popular pet photos are. 

With only two contests held so far, a whopping 1454 votes have been cast between the two of them! That's a load of people interested in pet photos and there are thousands more out there just like them waiting to be invited in to have a look.

Holding these contests has confirmed a few things.

1. People find their pets interesting enough to share them with all who are interested in checking them out. Justifiably so.
2. People love to look at pet photos. They love to ooooh and ahhhhh over the pets that share our lives and they are happy to take time out of their day to share those moments with us.
3. People will go out of there way to show support for their pets and photographers alike. Pets are loving and loyal. Pet lovers and people who specialize in pet photography are a loyal and unique breed themselves.
4. It doesn't take a pro photographer to capture an interesting image. Even the most casual snap shot can capture the hearts of many.
5. People are competitive and love a challenge, even if there is no prize for winning.
6. Most people find the competition an enjoyable process while others are stressed to the max awaiting the final results.

All it takes is to the look at the entries and voting of these two contests to see that pets are a valuable part of the lives of so many, and for a great many reasons.

Photographs are a major outlet for pet lovers to share their special pet moments with the world.
