Another successful adoption drive for Caruthersville Humane Society at Petco- slideshow included

Caruthersville Humane Society had a successful adoption day at Petco April 10th. Out of the eight animals they brought along only 2 went back to the shelter. Four kittens and two dogs were discovered by their new families just as you walk through the door at the Cape Girardeau Petco Store.

Just across the aisle, a few feet away, was an adoption booth forSafe Harbor Animals Sanctuary from Jackson, MO. Safe Harbor too had a good day for adoptions.

The Caruthersville team, Karole and Donny, feel it was a good turn out and overall good day for the animals. Event those pets who weren't adopted had a day out of the shelter, met a few people, and socialized among themselves.

Caruthersville Humane Society, now only a couple of weeks away from the end of the month, is only 21 adoptions away from reaching their goal by the end of April. Karol Wilcox, shelter president, feels they have a good shot at making their goal and ask your help in doing so. Everyone is encouraged to stop by the shelter and have a look around. All visitors are welcome.
