As a pet owner, I’m constantly on the lookout for things I can do with my pets. The cats are content hanging out at home and enjoying some Murphy-free time. On the other hand, Murphy is always up for a trip away from home. When I hear of new places that welcome quad-peds, I try to plan a trip with Murphy. In the next few weeks, I’ll have another pet-friendly resource available.
Fido Factor will be launching on June 26! This is a new online guide to everything dog friendly in San Francisco. They are kicking off their helpful guide with a dog friendly (and people pleasing) event from 12-2 PM at the Leanne B. Roberts Animal Care Center (201 Alabama Street in SF). Guests will be able to see live demos of Fido Factor as well as learn about how Fido Factor and its users are helping the homeless pets in San Francisco.
If you plan on going, be sure you RSVP to launch@fidofactor.com with “launch” as your subject and the number in your party (of both bi and quad-peds) in the body of your email so they have enough treats and goodie bags to accommodate the number of people and dogs attending. People will be provided with a free lunch and dogs will be given freshly baked dog biscuits! If you’re planning on leaving your dog at home and want to use public transportation, the center is 6 blocks from the Mission/16th Street BART station
