Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony are being sued by a flight attendant who says she was attacked by the couple's "personal protection dog," a German Shepherd named Floyd, reports the New York Daily News.

The incident reportedly took place in 2006 when flight attendant Lisa Wilson was serving the celebrity couple aboard their Gulfstream IV jet. "[Floyd] headbutted her leg and she fell and seriously injured her back," the Daily News reports the lawsuit as alleging.

A dog behavior expert -- presumably hired by the plaintiff's attorneys --  found that the "dog behaved inappropriately, aggressively and in a manner that consistently endangered humans," reports the Daily News.

"The dog was obviously dangerous and we will prove at trial that it was only a matter of time before he hurt someone," Wilson's lawyer told the Daily News. The defense attorney stated in court documents that they will be hiring their own animal expert, reports the Daily News.

Will this case actually go to trial -- or settle?
