Horse in movie theater caught on closed circuit television. (Photo: NNP)
In England, moviegoers standing in the lobby of the Cineworld complex in the bucolic town of Boldon, South Tyneside were surprised to see a horse trot through the automatic sliding front doors.
The whole incident--all 20 seconds of it--was caught on closed circuit television.
The steed had been one of three horses to escape from a nearby farm, but apparently the only movie buff of the bunch. (No word where the other two horses headed; perhaps the mall.)
After taking a look at the show times and realizing that Slumdog Millionaire wasn't playing for another hour, the horse decided to leave and come back later with some snacks. Unfortunately, it was caught shortly after leaving the theater. Natch.
