Viva Las Divas: Mariah gets 'Obsessed' while Whitney looks to 'You' with new music

Two of music's biggest Personalities are about to give their legions of fans something to sing about very soon.  Up first, find out who is getting "Obsessed" with Mariah Carey in New York City.

Multi platinum and multi-Grammy winning icon Mariah Carey is about to unleash her latest single "Obsessed" on July 7th. The first single off her upcoming album "Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel, Carey has received positive reviews for the track. She's currently shooting the video for "Obsessed" in New York City, adding a decidedly male perspective if you look closely to the image of the singer above. Gender bending cool indeed, Mariah!

"Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel" is scheduled for release on August 25th.

WHITNEY IS COMING BACK!

Meanwhile, the legendary Whitney Houston is about to unveil her first collection of new music since 2002.  After much media speculation as to her well-being, Houston is gearing up for a major promotional campaign for the album, titled "I Look to You," which is set for a September 1st release.  To remind fans and the world of her iconic voice, a retrospective clip has been added to her website, which is counting down the days to the album's release.

Catch the clip below to hear Houston belt out the songs that made her a global superstar with over 170 million combined album, singles and videos sold worldwide during her career with Arista Records.
