Courting acclaim and a well-deserved Oscar nomination this week for her starring role in "Precious," actress Gabourey Sidibe offered her idea of a proper escort for the big night to Canada's eTalk in a disarming interview.
"I want to make Justin Timberlake and Anthony Mackie (of "The Hurt Locker") fight it out for the honor of being my date," Sidibe gushed to eTalk this week. "I'm just going to throw them in the ring and make them do it!"
Sidibe, a self-avowed fan of *NSYNC, does have her eye on more than just Oscar prize. In a perfect world, only the man known as "JT" will do on that important night. With plenty of zeal, Sidibe turned to face the camera and utter this sincere plea:
"Justin," she said. "If you're not doing anything on that night, maybe you could be my date or something. It's fine. No pressure!"
