Key information on a proposed "Ghostbusters 3" has come out of Europe as Sigourney Weaver revealed some interesting details that have set film bloggers dusting off their proton packs in anticipation. Weaver, currently in the midst of the "Avatar" press events overseas, offered some choice bits during an interviews with Britain's Channel 4.
"I’m afraid to say it 'Ghostbusters 3' is happening," Weaver said. "I hope people are excited about that. I don’t know if I’m going to be in it, I have had a couple of calls asking ‘Would you read the script?’"
The thrice-Oscar nominated actress went on to offer a few clues as to what's happened to the 'Busters since the blockbuster film series left screens 1989.
"I know that my little son Oscar – who was kidnapped from me – I think he has grown up to be a Ghostbuster. I might be in it; I see nothing wrong with being in it, although I don’t think I will have a big part. I think Bill Murray has a little more to do with it - he’s a ghost."
Peter Venkman as a ghost? Now that's worth getting slimed over.

I hate the story plot. Bill Murray's character (Venkman) is the whole reason why I loved Ghostbusters as a kid. The idea that he'd be dead in this movie.....well, I don't like it. I will wait for more information but for now, I don't want to see this movie. I'll save my money.
i love to seen my favorites movies all time love to seen them again peter marry dana and step son oscar that great i wonder who janie marry egon or luca probaly marry some one else.what about ray and winston. i'll heard peter gone as ghost that be very sad. oscar and his friends become a ghostbusters that will be so super cool.
