After a tumultuous year, Frances Bean Cobain is starting to hear the sound of music. The 17-year-old daughter of late Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love is preparing to make her singing debut with Evelyn Evelyn, featuring members from Dresden Dolls, My Chemical Romance and more.
The musical DNA coursing through Frances Bean Cobain has finally revealed itself as NME reports she has been enlisted to joing a "gang" of artists on an upcoming side project from Dresden Dolls. Frances Bean will be making her singing debut on a track that will feature Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance, Andrew WK and "Weird Al" Yankovic.
The track, titled "My Space," is part of the collection from the debut album of Evelyn Evelyn, who are comprised of Dresden Dolls' Amanda Palmer and Seattle-based musician Jason Webley. Twentyfourbit.com also reports Tegan & Sara, ex-Hold Steady keyboardist Franz Nicolay, mutli-media artist Margaret Cho, Eugene Mirman and members of Mindless Self-Indulgence are also participating.
Los Angeles music fans can expect the eponymously titled album Evelyn Evelyn to drop on March 30.

the sweetest pic i've seen of frances bean, very pretty. she doesn't need those blue contacts. happy to see gerard way encouraging her. not wild about palmer's conjoined twin act. tacky. can't wait to hear gerard and frances bean.
