This is so easy to do and it can be packed in a thermos mug or simply kept in the refrigerator. All you need to do is blend together your favorite fresh fruits with some low fat milk and ice cubes. You can make this in a variety of fruity flavors and it will keep you satisfied for a couple hours.
Dried Fruits
This is a popular choice because it is delicious and so easy to do. You can find dried fruits in your local grocery store. You can get a mixed pack or stick to one type if you have a single preference. To make them ready to go all you need to do is toss them in a zip lock bag!
Trail Mix
Trail mix is high in fiber and low in fat. It can have a mixture of cereals, dried fruits and nuts. Get your favorite type and put out a portion in a zip lock bag and you are ready for hunger whenever it comes.
Planning ahead can really help you to stick to your diet and keep you organized for the summer break. These snacks are great for adults or children so they are adaptable even to pack for kids to take out to a day camp.
