Ron Paul's 'national nightmare'

Here’s the latest video from Ron Paul. He’s crazy, you know.

Even still, what he has said for years about the Fed, inflation, the gold standard, and the role of government has all come home to roost.

That’s why Paul has managed to gather the support of 175 co-sponsors for his Federal Reserve Transparency act of 2009 which demands a GAO audit of the Fed, and a full report to Congress sometime next year. Needless to say, it will be an uphill fight.

Here he his at his agitating best with a zinger or ten aimed squarely at the status quo.

"A grand absurdity; a great deception.

A delusion of momentous proportions, based on preposterous notions and on ideas whose time should never have come.

Simplicity grossly distorted and complicated.

 Insanity passed off as logic.

Grandiose schemes built on falsehoods with the morality of Ponzi and Madoff.

Evil described as virtue.

 Ignorance pawned off as wisdom.

Destruction and impoverishment in the name of humanitarianism.

Violence, the tool of change.

Preventive wars used as the road to peace.

Tolerance delivered by government guns.

Reactionary views in the guise of progress.

An empire replacing the republic.

Slavery sold as liberty.

Excellence and virtue traded for mediocrity.

Socialism to save capitalism.

A government out of control, unrestrained by the Constitution, the rule of law, or morality.

Bickering over petty politics as we collapse into chaos.

Is this where you woke up, sir? Of course, it could all be a bad dream, a nightmare, and that I'm seriously mistaken, overreacting, and that my worries are unfounded. I hope so.

But just in case, we ought to prepare ourselves for revolutionary changes in the not-too-distant future."

That seems to about sum all it up now doesn’t it?

I guess that makes me sort of crazy too.

Great stuff Congressman.

Well, I admit, most Americans will not even have a clue about what Paul is talking about. Too bad, they'll find out, soon enough.

If politicians were to change their ways and start calling a spade a spade, they should call the democrats the Democrat Socialist Party and the republicans the Republican Fascist Party. The difference is, socialism is where the government owns the corporations, fascism is where the corporations own the government. Which would you choose?

And by the way...perhaps If you took the General Electric owned CNBC phallus out of your rectum you would be able to see that clearly Ron Paul is spot on. T

What i like about Ron is he is not playing the game. Most other politicians are simply in a fight to get reelected Ron stands on principle and lets the chips fall. He is not rehearsed or partisan he just believes in his ideas and so do I.

Our "Dear Leaders" have America Dialed in. They toss out canards and straw men for us to quibble over while they quietly dole out trillions of dollars to themselves.

I am amazed to see people that agree on 90% of the issues but continue to argue and amplify trivial things to keep us divided.

All of us should be speaking with a unified voice about the theft of our future and our childrens future.

One voice speaking together on this one issue until it can be solved.
