Nervous laughter punctuated the tears today, as thousands of elves packed a lifetime of memories into tiny little cardboard boxes. A hoped for Christmas miracle had failed to materialize, and lacking a massive bailout, Santa Claus sadly cancelled Christmas this year.
As a result, the devastated elves headed off to an unknown own future at arguably the worst time of the year.
“Bah humbug” one particularly angry elf remarked as he packed up his tools, “after 2,007 years of making children laugh and smile you would think we deserved better”….
That’s the tone of a funny video I came across yesterday on youtube, where a good sense of humor and a ton of bandwidth provide a laugh or two 24 hours a day.
So let’s try to end another bumpy week with a chuckle this time—sometimes laughter really is the best medicine you know….
