Still one more week of DC's Capital Fringe Fest left!

One week remains in the DC Capital Fringe Festival. Every venue still has plays and performances showing from afternoon hours to nighttime hours, so even if you have missed some of the ones you wanted to see, there are still plenty of great pieces from which to choose.

The five venues; Fort Fringe, The Trading Post, Warehouse, The Mountain, and The Goethe Institut are all places of unique, rich history and house several performances during this year’s festival. Written inside the Capital Fringe Fest catalog, available outside several of these venues or at their participating restaurants, bars, and theatres, are the stories and legacies of these historic buildings. Many of these buildings are hollowed out, abandoned, and antiquated, but as venues for live performance, these venues add to the raw spirit that is theatre and ultimately the Fringe Festival. On the Festival’s final day, July 26th, at The Baldacchino Gypsy Tent Bar, there will be a closing night party which is free and open to all. The night celebrates food, drink, live music, dancing, and mingling, as well as audience and Fringe Fanatic awards. If you can’t make it to any other night, this final day is the one to attend!
