Joey Hood is a freelance arts and entertainment journalist based out of Manhattan. His writing has appeared in American Songwriter, Bitch! Magazine: Feminist Response to Pop Culture, Nerve.com, New York Press, NPR.org and Paste. A recent graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, he moved to New York City for an internship with Rolling Stone. He regularly participates in the Manhattan live storytelling collective The Moth and is currently workshopping his feminist drag queen in various downtown venues.
