Is Steven Tyler's drug use breaking up Aerosmith?

Steven Tyler is in Aerosmith, he's out.  The other members are looking for a replacement for Tyler, he's irreplaceable.  Where does the truth lie?  Now comes a Reuter's story that alledes that Tyler has fallen back into drug problems and that is the reason for tension between the members of Aerosmith.  Aerosmith lost millions when Tyler fell off stage at an August concert at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in Sturgis, South Dakota(see video below).  He broke his shoulder, and recieved stiches on his head, causing the cancelation of the rest of the tour.  The allegations of drug use,  from rhythm guitarist Brad Whitford and drummer Joey Kramer, are contributing to the feud.

"I suspect there's a lot more going on than we know about," Whitford, 57, told Reuters. "He has a well-documented history of drug abuse, and I find myself very suspicious. I haven't seen him do this or ... have any personal knowledge, but the isolation is very typical of addictive behavior, and his -- what I call -- irrational behavior."    Whitford said he has had a "contentious relationship" with Tyler for many years. "I just find him ... very difficult to talk to," he said. "Most people say, 'How's it going? Nice day.' And (with Tyler) it won't be, 'Yeah, it is a nice day.' All of a sudden, it's drama."

Kramer, 59, in a separate interview, declined to get specific about any drug abuse, but said: "Steven has made some poor choices as of late, and he's got some bad influences around him, and I think that for the most part he's his own worst enemy ... I just really hope that Steven puts the focus on Steven and gets healthy."

Next year is Aerosmith's 40th anniversary and the band hopes to mount a tour.  Tyler, in the meantime has stated that he wants to work on his own projects fro the next couple of years.

Kramer replied to this news, "What are we gonna do? Sit around for two years and do nothing?"
