Mike Ancas is most known for the 4 automotive performance books he has written: 1999 -Honda and Acura Performance Handbook- vol 1 2000 - Mazda RX-7 Performance Handbook 2005 - High Performance Dodge Neon and SRT-4 Builders Guide 2005 - Honda and Acura Performance Handbook - vol 2. He began his auto racing career with the Sports Car Club of America in 1987 with Solo 2 (autocross). He was also active in the SCCA Road Racing program, but since 1995 has been competing in SCCA Automotive Hillclimbs. He currently holds 38 active SCCA Hillclimb records in various classes driving Hondas, Neons and open wheeled cars.
